that is the name of the camp road. its a private road. the town doesn't maintain it. we do.. it was name after a man that owned all the land. he divided up into lots & sold the lots individually back in the 50s. both of my Grandparents on both sides found out from friend of theirs that bought a lot up here. they told their friends & neighbors back at home in Rockingham County in NH, & they all bought lots & thats how it all started, about 10-11 yrs after the 1947 forest fires.
